Water Heaters
Repair and replacement for tank and tankless water heaters that leak, make noise or run out of hot water too fast.
A kitchen sink that holds water, a tub that drains slower every week or a floor drain that fills when the washer runs. We clear it, tell you why it clogged and give you a flat price before we start. From our office on Campbell Street, 24/7.

Call when plunging hasn't fixed it, when the same drain clogs again within weeks or when a drain smells like sewer. Pay attention to how many fixtures are affected. One slow drain usually means a clog close to it. If the floor drain fills when the washer empties or the toilet gurgles when the tub drains, the main line is blocked, and that's sewer rodding.
Everyday use causes most clogs: hair and soap in bathrooms, grease and food in kitchens, lint from laundry. We clear them with a cable sized for the pipe and show you what came out.
In Geneva's historic homes, old galvanized and cast iron drains have rough insides that catch debris and clog again quickly. In newer homes, long runs with lots of turns are where clogs settle. If the same drain keeps clogging, a camera look tells us whether it needs hydro jetting or a repair.
Grease causes most kitchen clogs. It goes down warm and hardens in the pipe, catching food and soap.
If both bowls fill or the dishwasher drains into the sink, the clog is past the trap. We clear the line to the stack. Disposal involved? See garbage disposal repair.
Geneva's homes range from the 1840s to today, and drain problems follow their age.
Galvanized and cast iron drains in older homes narrow over time, so clogs come back faster.
A new kitchen often sits on top of the original drain line, which still has decades of buildup.
Several slow drains at once usually mean roots or a blockage in the main. That's sewer drain clearing.
When every drain slows down together or the basement floor drain fills, the main sewer drain is blocked. Clearing it takes a machine that can run the full line from the cleanout to the main.
We clear the line, then camera it so you see the cause. Near downtown, it's usually roots in old clay. On the west side, it's more often grease, wipes or a sag. Repeat clogs get a plan: sewer rodding, hydro jetting or a sewer repair.

Old pipe is rough inside and catches debris.
Old galvanized and cast iron pipe is rough and narrowed inside, so it catches hair, grease and debris faster than new pipe. Jetting or replacing the worst sections helps.
One fixture is local. Several, or the floor drain, is the main.
If only one fixture is slow, the clog is nearby. If several are slow or the floor drain backs up, it's the main line.
We don't recommend it, especially on old pipe.
We don't recommend it. Chemicals can damage older pipes and rarely clear the whole clog.
It depends on where the clog is. You'll approve a flat price first.
