Drain Cleaning
Slow, gurgling or backed-up drains in kitchens, bathrooms and basements.
A bathroom faucet that won't stop dripping, a kitchen faucet you want to replace or new fixtures for a remodel. We repair and install faucets and fixtures in homes across Elgin, with a flat price before we start. From our office on North McLean Boulevard.

Most faucet problems are one of these:
A worn cartridge, washer or O-ring. On a good faucet, it's a simple fix.
Loose supply lines, a tired shutoff valve or a drain connection that's slipped.
A blocked aerator, a failing cartridge or, in older homes, the pipe behind the wall.
The mounting has loosened, and water can get under the faucet base.
We fix dripping and leaking kitchen faucets and install new ones, from simple single-handle models to pull-down sprayers, touchless faucets and filtered-water taps.
In older Elgin homes, the sink and the shutoff valves under it may be original. Old valves can refuse to close or start leaking once they're turned. We replace them as part of the install when needed, so the new faucet has a solid start.

We handle the rest of the kitchen too: sink drains, dishwasher hookups, ice maker and refrigerator lines, disposals and gas connections for ranges. For a remodel, we reroute or add plumbing to match the new layout.
Clogged sink? See drain cleaning. Disposal not working? See garbage disposal repair. New gas range? See gas line installation.
We install sinks, faucets, toilets, showerheads, tub fillers, laundry sinks and outdoor spigots, from a single swap to every fixture in a new bathroom. Each install includes connections, new shutoffs where needed and a leak check.
Bought your fixtures already? Send us the make and model so we can confirm the fit. For toilets, see toilet installation. For showers, see shower repair.
From 1800s homes near downtown to 2000s homes on the west side, fixture work in Elgin varies a lot.
Historic bathrooms often have pedestal or wall-mount sinks with spacing that modern faucets don't match. We'll help you find one that fits instead of forcing it.
If a brand-new faucet still has weak flow, old galvanized supply pipe may be the cause. We'll tell you if we see it.
Homes from the 1990s and 2000s often still have their original faucets. Upgrading several at once saves trips.
Fixture work should be quick and clean.
A cartridge can save a good faucet.
Including any valves or lines that need replacing.

Fix a good faucet with a worn part. Replace a corroded one.
