Drain Cleaning
Slow, gurgling or backed-up drains in kitchens, bathrooms and basements.
A faucet crusted with white scale, a drip you can hear from the bedroom or a remodel that needs new fixtures. We repair and install faucets and fixtures across Columbus, with a flat price before we start. From our office on West Goodale Boulevard.

Most faucet problems start small. Here's when to call:
A worn cartridge or seal lets water through. Mineral scale on the cartridge speeds up the wear.
Scale on the aerator and spout means minerals are building inside the faucet too, which cuts flow over time.
Usually a loose supply line, a weeping shutoff valve or a leak at the faucet base.
Scale and worn parts make handles stiff or gritty. Sometimes a cartridge fixes it, sometimes it's time for a new faucet.
We repair dripping, leaking and weak kitchen faucets, and install new ones, including pull-down, pull-out, touchless and filtered-water models. With Columbus's hard water, a lot of kitchen faucet repairs start with a scaled-up cartridge or aerator.
When we swap a faucet, we check the shutoff valves and supply lines under the sink too. In older homes, those valves may not have moved in decades, and they're often what fails. If they won't hold, we replace them while the sink is open.

We handle the rest of the kitchen too: sink drains and traps, dishwasher and refrigerator lines, garbage disposals and gas lines for ranges. Remodeling? We can move or add fixtures so the plumbing matches the new layout.
For a clogged kitchen sink, see drain cleaning. For a jammed disposal, see garbage disposal repair. Adding a gas range? See gas line installation.
We install sinks, faucets, toilets, showerheads, tub fillers, laundry sinks and outdoor spigots, one at a time or for a full remodel. Every install includes the connections, new shutoff valves where needed and a leak check before we leave.
Bought your own fixture? That's fine. Tell us the make and model and we'll let you know if anything needs to change to fit it. For toilets, see toilet installation. For showers, see shower repair.
Columbus homes range from 19th-century brick to brand-new builds, and the plumbing behind the faucet changes with the decade.
Columbus water averaged 98 to 125 mg/L of hardness in 2025, depending on the plant. That's enough to scale up aerators, cartridges and showerheads over a few years.
About 1 in 4 Columbus homes was built before 1960. Original galvanized lines narrow as they corrode, so a new faucet may still have weak flow. We'll tell you if the faucet or the pipe is the problem.
A faucet job should be simple. Here's how we keep it that way.
A new cartridge often saves a good faucet. If it won't, we'll tell you why.
The flat price you approve is the price you pay.
We clear and cover the work area and clean it up before we go.

A worn part on a good faucet is a repair. A corroded or heavily scaled faucet is usually a replacement.
If it's a worn cartridge or seal on a good-quality faucet, a repair usually makes sense. If it's old, corroded or heavily scaled, or parts are hard to find, replacing it is often the better value. We'll tell you which we'd pick.
Yes. Tell us the make and model and we'll confirm it fits.

It's mineral scale. Soak the aerator in vinegar. If it keeps coming back fast, test your water.
That's mineral scale from the water. Unscrew the aerator and soak it in white vinegar to dissolve it. If the crust comes back fast or shows up on every fixture, a water test tells you whether a softener or filter is worth it.
It depends on the faucet and your plumbing. You get a flat price before any work begins.
It depends on the faucet, the sink, the condition of the shutoff valves and supply lines, and access. We give you a flat-rate price before any work begins.
