Sump Pumps
Sump pump repair, replacement and battery backups to keep your basement dry through heavy rain and snowmelt.
A kitchen faucet that drips all night, a bathroom sink with barely any flow or a new set of fixtures for a remodel. We repair and install faucets and fixtures across Arlington Heights, with a flat price before we start. From our office on East Central Road.

Here's when to call:
A worn cartridge, washer or seal. On a good faucet, it's a quick repair.
A loose supply line, a leaking shutoff valve or a failing drain connection.
A clogged aerator or cartridge. If every faucet is weak, it may be the pipes.
Worn parts inside the valve. Old faucets may need replacing if parts aren't made anymore.
We fix leaking, dripping and stiff kitchen faucets and install new ones, including pull-down sprayers, touchless models and filtered-water taps. In an Arlington Heights kitchen that hasn't been updated since the 1970s or 1980s, the faucet is often the first upgrade.
When we install a new faucet, we check the shutoff valves and supply lines under the sink. Old multi-turn valves often won't close fully or start dripping once they're moved. We replace them while the sink is already open, so you're not calling us back for a leak a week later.

Beyond the faucet, we handle sink drains, dishwasher connections, refrigerator and ice maker lines, disposals and gas lines for ranges. For a remodel, we move or add plumbing to fit the new layout, including island sinks.
Sink backing up? See drain cleaning. Disposal humming? See garbage disposal repair. Switching to a gas range? See gas line installation.
We install sinks, faucets, toilets, showerheads, tub fillers, laundry tubs and outdoor spigots, from a single swap to a full bathroom. Every install includes the connections, new shutoffs where needed and a leak check before we leave.
Bought your own fixtures? Send us the make and model and we'll confirm they'll fit your plumbing. For toilets, see toilet installation. For showers, see shower repair.
With most homes built between 1940 and 1989, fixture work here often turns up older plumbing behind the faucet.
In postwar homes, weak flow at a new faucet is often caused by old galvanized pipe in the wall, not the faucet. We'll tell you if that's what we see.
Valves from the 1950s through the 1980s tend to seize or drip once they're turned. We check them on every fixture job.
Many homes have one remodeled bath and one original. We match connections between old and new plumbing so everything seals properly.
A fixture job should be quick and tidy.
A new cartridge often saves a good faucet. We'll say so.
Before any work, including any valves or lines that need replacing.
Cabinets and counters protected and cleaned up when we're done.

"Clayton Griffel came and provided great same-day service on work of replacing a pipe and faucet connection. Clayton was courteous and attentive to the job. Definitely "a good call" to J. Blanton this time."
"Tony Z did a great job replacing leaky pipes under my kitchen sink. He checked throughly to make sure the issue was solved. The whole experience was positive. I recommend."
Usually a clogged aerator or cartridge.
Usually a clogged aerator or a worn cartridge. Unscrew the aerator at the tip and rinse it. If that doesn't help, the cartridge or the supply line may be the issue. If several fixtures are weak, it's likely the pipes.
Yes. Tell us the make and model and we'll confirm it fits.
Yes. Tell us the make and model when you call, and we'll make sure it fits your sink and plumbing before the visit.
A worn part on a good faucet is a repair. A corroded or failing faucet is a replacement.
If it's a quality faucet with a worn cartridge or seal, repair it. If the body is corroded, the finish is failing or parts aren't available, replacing it is the better value.
Yes, and it often saves a second trip.
Yes. If several faucets are the same age and starting to drip, replacing them together saves time. You'll get one flat price for the whole job.
It depends on the faucet and what's under the sink. You get a flat price first.
It depends on the faucet, the condition of the valves and supply lines and access. We give you a flat-rate price before any work begins.
