Drain Cleaning
Slow, gurgling or backed-up drains in kitchens, bathrooms and basements.
A kitchen faucet that drips all night, an outdoor spigot that won't shut off or new fixtures for a bathroom update. We repair and install faucets and fixtures inside and out, with a flat price before we start. From our office on 185th Street.

Here's when it's worth a call:
A worn cartridge or seal. It adds up on the water bill and stains the sink.
Often a worn washer. If it started after winter, the pipe behind it may have split.
A loose supply line, a weeping shutoff or a leak at the faucet base.
Worn parts inside, or debris in the aerator.
We repair dripping, leaking and wobbly kitchen faucets and install new ones, from pull-downs to touchless and filtered-water taps. Most kitchens in Tinley Park have been through at least one faucet swap since the house was built.
When we install a new faucet, we check the shutoff valves and supply lines under the sink. Original valves from the 1980s and 1990s can drip or refuse to close, and replacing them now saves a second visit.

We handle everything else in the kitchen too: sink drains and traps, dishwasher hookups, refrigerator and ice maker lines, garbage disposals and gas connections for ranges. Updating the kitchen? We can move or add fixtures to match the new layout.
Sink clogged? See drain cleaning. Disposal jammed? See garbage disposal repair. New gas range? See gas line installation.
We install sinks, faucets, toilets, showerheads, tub spouts, laundry tubs and outdoor spigots, including freeze-resistant spigots that hold up to south suburban winters. Every install includes the connections, new shutoffs where needed and a leak check.
Picked out your own fixture? Send us the make and model and we'll confirm it fits. For toilets, see toilet installation. For showers, see shower repair.
Most Tinley Park homes were built between 1970 and 2009, so the plumbing behind your faucets is likely 17 to 56 years old.
Spigots on Tinley Park homes go through freezes every winter. If a spigot leaks inside the wall or won't shut off in spring, the pipe behind it may have split. A freeze-resistant spigot is an easy upgrade.
Valves under sinks and behind toilets from the 1980s and 1990s can seize or start dripping the first time they're turned. We check them before we start any fixture job.
A fixture job should be quick and clean.
A cartridge or washer often saves a good faucet. If it won't, we'll say so.
One flat price before we start.
Cabinets cleared and covered while we work, cleaned up after.

"Andrew was very professional but also personable, explaining the issue and how they were going to fix it and gave me some tips to help avoid having a recurrence. They were able to get my kitchen sink up and running again right before the holidays which was a life saver."
"Clayton Griffel came and provided great same-day service on work of replacing a pipe and faucet connection. Clayton was courteous and attentive to the job. Definitely "a good call" to J. Blanton this time."
"Tony Z did a great job replacing leaky pipes under my kitchen sink. He checked throughly to make sure the issue was solved. The whole experience was positive. I recommend."

Yes. We replace leaking or broken spigots and can install freeze-resistant models, which shut the water off inside the warm wall instead of at the outside face. You still need to take the hose off before winter.

Yes. Tell us the make and model when you call. We'll check that it fits your sink and plumbing and let you know if anything needs to change.
A worn part on a good faucet is a repair. An old or corroded faucet is usually a replacement.
If it's a worn cartridge or washer on a good faucet, repair it. If it's corroded, discontinued or the finish is failing, a new faucet is often the better value. We'll tell you which we'd do.
It depends on the faucet and your plumbing. You get a flat price before any work begins.
It depends on the faucet, the sink, the condition of the shutoff valves and supply lines, and access. We give you a flat-rate price before any work begins.
