Drain Cleaning
Clogged kitchen sinks, slow bathroom drains and backed-up basement floor drains.
No hot water in your unit, a leak in the utility closet or a heater that keeps shutting off. We find what failed, tell you whether it's worth repairing and give you a flat price before we start. Our office is on Diversey Parkway. Open 24/7.

Common calls:
A pilot, igniter, element or valve that failed.
Sediment or a failing burner or element.
Valve leaks can be fixed. Tank leaks can't.
Often a venting or safety switch problem.
Water heaters here live in basements, utility closets and tight mechanical rooms.
A leak inside a unit can reach the neighbor below. We check pans and drains.
In older buildings, gas heaters may vent into a chimney shared with other appliances.
Many condos have electric heaters, with elements and thermostats that fail.
Narrow stairs and tight closets take planning.
We repair gas and electric tank heaters, power-vent units and tankless heaters in Lincoln Park houses, two-flats and condos.
When you call, read us the label: fuel, size and date. If it's time to replace it, see water heater installation.
A yearly flush clears sediment and helps the heater last. We also test the relief valve, check the anode rod and inspect the burner or elements and the venting.
Tankless heaters need descaling on a schedule.
A diagnosis you can trust.
Before we talk price.
Both options when the heater is near the end.
Closets and hallways left as we found them.

Many condo units have their own water heater in a closet, often on an upper floor. That location means a small leak can become a big problem for the unit below. If you see water around the base, shut off the cold supply at the top of the heater and call us. We'll tell you whether it's a valve we can replace or a tank that's failed, and we'll plan the replacement around your building's rules.

Shortly after Alex left a gas leak from an old valve on the piping to the tank occurred and needed to be replaced, Alex came back same night and fixed it. This is a 5-Star company."
