Sewer Repair
Tree roots, cracked pipe and repeat backups in the line from your house to the street.
A kitchen sink that won't drain after a family dinner, a tub that fills while you shower or a basement floor drain that bubbles. We clear it, tell you why it happened and give you a flat price before we start. From our office on Esplanade Drive, 24/7.

Call us when plunging hasn't worked, when the same drain clogs again within weeks or when you notice a sewer smell. Count the fixtures. If it's one sink, the clog is nearby. If the floor drain fills when the washer runs, or toilets gurgle when the tub drains, the main line is blocked, and that's sewer rodding.
In a busy household, drains take a beating: hair and soap in the bathrooms, grease and food in the kitchen, lint in the laundry. We clear them with a cable sized for the pipe and show you what came out.
Algonquin homes often have bathrooms on every level, so drain lines are long and have plenty of turns where clogs settle. If the same drain keeps clogging, a camera look tells us whether it needs hydro jetting or a repair.
Grease is behind most kitchen clogs. It goes down warm, cools in the pipe and traps food and soap.
If both bowls fill or the dishwasher drains into the sink, the clog is past the trap. We clear the line to the stack and check the trap and connections. Disposal involved? See garbage disposal repair.
The median Algonquin home was built in 1994, and 88% are owner-occupied, many by families. Drains here wear out from daily use more than age.
Long hair, conditioner and soap build up fast in shower and sink drains in kids' bathrooms.
Grease from years of family meals coats the kitchen line, especially past the disposal.
Basement laundry sends lint to the floor drain and the line below it.
If several drains slow at once, roots from maturing yard trees may be in the main. That's sewer drain clearing.
When every drain slows down together or water comes up at the basement floor drain, the main sewer drain is blocked. Clearing it takes a machine that can run the full line from the cleanout to the main.
We clear it, then camera the line so you see the cause. In Algonquin, it's often roots from maturing trees or a sag where the line settled. Repeat clogs get a plan: sewer rodding, hydro jetting or a sewer repair.

Hair and soap build up in the trap and the line behind it.
Long hair, conditioner and soap bind together in the trap and the drain arm. A full cleaning of the line lasts longer than pulling out the stopper, and a hair catcher keeps it that way.
For problem drains, a yearly cleaning helps.
For drains that clog often, a yearly cleaning keeps buildup from turning into a full clog. Most drains don't need it.
One fixture is local. The floor drain or several fixtures means the main.
If only one fixture is slow, the clog is close to it. If the floor drain backs up or several fixtures gurgle, the main line is involved.
We don't recommend them.
We don't recommend them. They can damage pipes and rarely clear the whole clog.
