Sewer Repair
Cracked or sagging sewer lines, roots and repeat backups in the line from your house to the street.
A kitchen sink that holds water, a basement shower that drains slower every week or a floor drain that fills when the washer empties. We clear it, tell you why it clogged and give you a flat price before we start. From our office on Jodi Road. Open 24/7.

A plunger is fine for a one-time clog. Call us when the plunger doesn't do it, when the same sink is slow again a week later or when a drain starts to smell. Then count the slow drains. If it's just one, the blockage is close to that fixture. If the basement floor drain fills while the washer pumps out, or a toilet bubbles when the tub empties, the main line is the problem, and that's a job for power rodding.
Bathroom sinks and tubs clog with hair and soap scum. Kitchens clog with grease and food scraps. Laundry lines clog with lint. We pick a cable sized for the pipe, clear the line and show you what we pulled out.
The drain pipe in most Mokena homes is in good condition. What causes trouble is the layout: island sinks, second-floor laundries and long, flat runs where debris settles. If one drain keeps clogging, we'll look inside it with a camera before we clear it a third time.
Cooking grease is the usual cause. It goes down the drain as a liquid, cools on the pipe walls and catches every bit of food and soap that follows.
When both bowls hold water, or the dishwasher empties into the sink instead of the drain, the blockage is past the trap and deeper in the wall. We clear it back to the main stack. If the disposal is part of the problem, see garbage disposal repair.
More than half of Mokena's homes were built between 1990 and 2009, and their drain problems follow a pattern.
Kitchen islands and second-floor laundries mean long, flat drain runs where debris settles.
A clog below the sewer line can involve the ejector pump, not just the drain.
Several slow drains at once usually mean a blockage in the main. That's sewer drain clearing.
When all the drains slow down at once, or water shows up at the basement floor drain, the clog is in the main line that carries everything to the street. That takes a machine with enough cable to reach from the cleanout to the village sewer.
After we open the line, we run a camera so you can see what stopped it. Here, it's most often wipes and paper caught in a sag, or roots at a loose joint. If it's not a one-time clog, we'll lay out the choices: power rodding on a schedule, hydro jetting or a sewer repair.

Very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly- instills confidence!"
"Our kitchen sink was not draining and technician Josh was sent out to tackle the issue. Josh did a great job getting the drain flowing freely. It was a challenging job but Josh did not quit until the drain was open. We would recommend Josh to any future customers and we would request that he be sent to our house for any additional work down the road. [...]"
"Ron was tremendous. He diagnosed and resolved the problem quickly and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend Ron to anyone needing plumbing help!"

Count the slow drains.
One slow drain is a local clog. Several slow drains, or water at the floor drain, means the main line.
Yes, after we look at it on camera.
Yes. If the camera shows a crack, a sag or a separated joint, we can repair or replace that section.
We'd skip them.
We'd skip them. They rarely clear the whole clog, and they're hard on pipes and on the person who has to open the drain next.
It depends on the clog. You'll approve a flat price first.
It depends on where the blockage is and what's causing it. You'll approve a flat price before we begin.
