Water Heaters
Repair and replacement for tank and tankless water heaters that leak, make noise or run out of hot water too fast.
When a line keeps clogging after it's been snaked or rodded, the problem is what's coating the inside of the pipe. Hydro jetting scrubs it clean with high-pressure water. We camera the line first and quote a flat price before we start. From our office on West Elm Street, serving McHenry County.

Hydro jetting clears a sewer line with a high-pressure water stream, fed through the same cleanout access point used for rodding. A specialized nozzle sprays water in every direction as it moves through the pipe, scouring grease, scale, and roots off the entire pipe wall instead of just cutting a path through the middle. It's the fix for buildup that keeps coming back after rodding, or for roots that have worked into the pipe joints. Rodding opens the line back up. Hydro jetting cleans it.
Jetting is the right tool when:
Hard groundwater leaves scale inside drain lines over the years. Jetting removes it so the pipe carries its full volume.
Rodding pokes a hole in grease. Jetting strips it off the pipe walls.
Jetting clears fine roots that rodding leaves behind at the joints.
Every lining job starts with a jetted, clean pipe.
Hydro jetting is a common fix for McHenry County drain lines, and the local water is part of the reason.
McHenry County gets its water from underground aquifers, and groundwater here tends to be hard. Minerals deposit inside drain lines along with soap and grease, building a crust that rodding can't remove.
Many McHenry homes were built for families in the 1990s and 2000s. Decades of cooking grease in the same kitchen line adds up.
Where a line has settled, water sits and debris builds faster. Jetting cleans it out while you plan the repair.
We confirm the pipe can handle the pressure first and show you the result when we're done.
We look before we jet.
We check for breaks or a collapse, since jetting a broken pipe can make it worse.
We clean to the main, adjusting pressure for the pipe material.
A second camera pass, and you get the price before any of it starts.

Yes. Minerals combine with soap and grease into scale.
Yes. Hard water leaves mineral deposits that bond with soap scum and grease. Over years, that crust narrows the pipe and catches debris. Jetting removes it.
For buildup, yes. For a simple clog, snaking is enough.
A snake or rod opens a path through a clog quickly. Jetting cleans the entire pipe wall, which matters when scale, grease or roots keep bringing the clog back.
Yes, on the line to the tank, with care.
Yes. We can jet the line from the house to the septic tank. We'll avoid sending excess debris into the tank and tell you if the tank needs pumping.
Often years for grease and scale, with good habits.
For grease and scale, often years. Roots grow back over time, so lines with roots usually need a yearly check.
It depends on the line and buildup. You get a flat price first.
