Drain Cleaning
Clogged kitchen sinks, slow bathroom drains and backed-up basement floor drains.
A burst pipe, sewage in the basement or water you can't stop. Call us any time, including nights, weekends and holidays. We'll get a plumber to you as soon as we can. Our Evanston office is on Orrington Avenue, downtown.

Call right away for:
Water you can't stop.
Through the floor drain.
Or a leaking tank.
Water rising.
Leave, then call Nicor Gas or 911.
The age of the housing shapes most of our calls.
Combined sewers fill fast in heavy rain.
Older homes have pipes on exterior walls and in crawl spaces.
A root-blocked line can back up on any day.
These steps limit the damage:
Usually in the basement where the water line enters.
If the leak is near it.
Off the basement floor.
Any time.

Fast help and a price first.
Nights, weekends and holidays.
Even in an emergency.
Not just patched.
The fastest way to limit water damage is knowing where to turn the water off. Your main shutoff is usually in the basement, on the wall where the water line comes in, near the meter. Each sink and toilet should have its own small valve. Water heaters have a valve on the cold line above the tank. Find them now, make sure they turn and show everyone in the house. In an emergency, those first minutes matter most.
Because the whole city is on combined sewers, heavy rain can push water back into basements quickly. If water starts coming up the floor drain, stop running water in the house so you're not adding to it. Move valuables up and keep people out of the water. Call us. Once the storm passes, we'll find out whether your lateral played a part and talk about protection.

"I’ve had a few folks from J Blanton out. Had some work done with them a couple times and although there was a snag on one of the jobs, it was resolved same day. Everyone I’ve worked with has been kind and pleasant and explained issues fully as well as answered questions, including Scott Brown who just came out. Much appreciated! [...]"
